    The Clinton Huron Metropark system is made of 13 parks in the watersheds of the Clinton and Huron river systems. Here you can find beaches, recreational and white water paddling, walking/hiking routes, recreational bicycling, and mountain biking.

    There are many greenspaces in the Oakland County Park system. You’ll find beaches, walking/hiking routes, and mountain biking trails.

    There are 103 Michigan State Parks for you to enjoy. Get out there and see how phenomenal this state is!!! Don’t forget, you can get a state park pass when you renew your vehicle’s tabs.

  • Michigan State Forests

    The Forests of Michigan are a treasure to behold. All types of recreation can be found here. This is where you can book stays in the state forest campgrounds.

  • US National Parks

    When it comes to the National Parks, most people don’t think about Michigan. Isle Royal, Sleeping Bear Dunes, Pictured Rocks, Keweenaw Park, River Raisin Battlefield, and the North Country Trail all have US National Park protections.

    The National Forest of Michigan are more well known than our state forests. Ottawa, Hiawatha, and the Huron-Manistee Forests provide all types of outdoor recreation.
